Here are our answers to the most frequently asked questions:

 What are the check-in and check-out times?

Arrival is between 15:00 and 19:00 (3-7 p.m.). Please phone if you’re arriving later. Latest check-out time is 10:00 (10 a.m).

Is the rate per person or per apartment?

Rates are per apartment.

Should I book the breakfast?

Yes, on request we serve a buffet breakfast in the Villa at a cost of 10,00 Euros per person. Alternatively we offer breakfast baskets to be delivered in the apartment at a cost of EUR 7.50.

Is it possible to buy or taste the farm products?

Yes, in the Villa there is a little shop where you can buy olive oil, honey, chestnut flour and pork meat. On request we also organize tastings in the cellar.

Are apartments quiet? Will we have our privacy?

Absolutely. Each apartment has its own private entrance and its own furnished outdoor space where you can barbecue and eat.

Is there an Internet point in the property?

Yes, there is one in our office and we provide guests with a free Skype phone. Moreover, we are setting up a wireless station near the pool.

What languages are spoken at the reception office?

Italian, English, Spanish and French.

How far are Florence and the other famous Tuscan cities?

Florence and Pisa are about 60 Km away, Lucca 20 Km, Pistoia 30 Km, Siena 90 Km. Cinque Terre is about 1.5 hours by car, and the Versilia beaches are less than one hour drive. Local maps, brochures and other information are available at our shop. We will gladly help you in making reservations for museums, concerts, spas, sporting events, etc.

Is it possible to rent a car in the area? Where?

All major car rental agencies have offices at Florence and Pisa airports, about one hour away. If you rent a car at Pisa airport, drive here on the A12, following signs to Genova, Lucca and Firenze, then on the A11, following signs to Lucca and Firenze. If you rent a car at Florence airport, drive here on the A11, following signs to Pistoia and Lucca.

How far is the nearest town or city?

Pescia is 4 Km away and the village of Pietrabuona is a mere 500 meters from the Villa Galeotti Flori.

Is there any grocery store nearby?

There’s a grocery store at Pietrabuona and a large supermarket at Pescia.

Will it be possible to find something for dinner (of for the next day breakfast) if we arrive late at night?

We can provide a cold supper or a breakfast basket if you wish.

Where is the nearest bus stop?

In front of the Villa Galeotti Flori. Please note that we recommend you having a car.

How far is the nearest train station?

The nearest train station is in Pescia, 4 Km away. Train is particularly recommended for trips to Lucca, Florence, and Cinque Terre.
